Lijiang Old Town:

Yulong Snow Mountain:

Yulong Snow Mountain, a prominent scenic spot near Lijiang, stands about 30 km north of the city. Here, visitors can enjoy the majestic view of the snow-covered peaks rising over 5,000 meters, with a large part of the mountain capped in snow year-round. Activities include mountain climbing, skiing, camping, and exploring the rich flora and fauna.

Shangri-La:

Shangri-La, located in northwest Yunnan on a plateau over 3,300 meters high, is renowned for its beautiful lakes and lush green hills. The area is rich in diverse and colorful vegetation and is also culturally significant with its many scenic spots, temples, and Buddhist monasteries. The pleasant and cool climate makes it an ideal place for a relaxing holiday.

Day 1 :

HANOI – LIJIANG – SHANGRI-LA (Light Lunch, Dinner)

06:00: Tour guide and vehicle pick up guests at the designated meeting point and transfer to Noi Bai Airport for check-in for flight QH801 (10:15 – 13:15) from Hanoi to Lijiang. (Lunch will be a light meal, either rice or sticky rice.)
13:15: Arrive in Lijiang. Transfer by car from Lijiang to Shangri-La, the "Land of Immortality" mentioned in the novel Lost Horizon by British author James Hilton. In Tibetan language, Shangri-La means "a place of fate and fortune," and it is the center of three major rivers: the Yangtze, the Lancang (upper Mekong), and the Nujiang.
Upon arrival in Shangri-La, visit:
- Dukezong Ancient Town: This ancient Tibetan settlement, which has been well-preserved for over 1,300 years, offers visitors the opportunity to explore hundreds of traditional Tibetan houses, learn about the local culture, daily life, and enjoy the hospitality of the Tibetan people.
Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 2 :

SHANGRI-LA – LIJIANG (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Breakfast. Visit:
- Songzanlin Monastery: Known as a miniature version of the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet. This is the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan, established by the 5th Dalai Lama in 1679, and is home to over 700 monks. The monastery showcases exquisite Tibetan Buddhist art, including grand Buddha statues, vibrant prayer flags, and intricately painted ceilings.
Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, travel back to Lijiang and visit:
- Black Dragon Pool Park: A scenic area where the waters from the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain nourish the land of Lijiang. The park offers stunning views of the snow-capped mountain and the serene lake.
- Lijiang Old Town: Established over 800 years ago at the end of the Song Dynasty, the old town is situated on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau at an altitude of 2,400 meters above sea level. The architecture here blends Han, Bai, and Tibetan styles with traditional Naxi elements. Lijiang was a bustling commercial center along the ancient Tea Horse Road, where traders exchanged Tibetan horses for Chinese tea. The old town was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997, and is often referred to as the "Venice of the East" due to its picturesque waterways and charming bridges.
Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Lijiang. After dinner, guests are free to explore the Sifang Street in the old town.

Day 3 :

LIJIANG – YULONG SNOW MOUNTAIN (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Breakfast. Vehicle pick-up for:
- Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Scenic Area: Take a cable car to visit the Yunshan Plateau at 3,200 meters above sea level, offering spectacular views of the snow-capped Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, which stands at 5,596 meters and is covered in snow year-round. The mountain is renowned for its pristine beauty, and it remains unconquered by climbers. Also visit the Baishui River formed by melting snow from the mountain and the Cam Hai Zi meadow.
- Blue Moon Valley: Known for its stunning scenery right at the base of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The valley is divided into four lakes: Yaochi, Jingsha, Lan Yue, and Ting Dao. The name Blue Moon Valley refers to the turquoise-blue color of the lakes, which from above resemble a crescent moon.
Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, enjoy the performance "Impression Lijiang" directed by the renowned Zhang Yimou. This open-air musical drama is set at an altitude of over 3,000 meters with the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain as the backdrop.
Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight stay in Lijiang. After dinner, guests have the option to attend "Lijiang Ancient Love" also directed by Zhang Yimou (additional cost).

Day 4 :

Lijiang – Hanoi (Breakfast and Lunch)

After breakfast, check out and visit a local jade and gemstone shop.

Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, transfer to the airport for the return flight QH801 (14:30 – 15:20) from Lijiang to Hanoi.

15:20: Arrive at Noi Bai Airport. Transfer back to Hanoi. The trip concludes.

Visa Application Procedures

Scan pages 2 and 3 of your passport (ensure scans are clear, not hand-held, and not shadowed).
Passport must be valid for more than 6 months (do not use old passports, as expired passports will be invalidated and cannot be used for exit).
Photo 4×6 cm with a white background, no white clothing, clear forehead and ears, no glasses.
For children under 18, provide a birth certificate (photocopy or scan) during registration. Carry the original for immigration procedures.
Complete group documentation at least 15 working days in advance (for visa processing and ticket issuance).

Notice

Passports must be valid for at least 6 months (181 days) from the end date of the trip.
Note on cosmetic surgery: Guests who have undergone cosmetic surgery (eyelid surgery, nose lift, jaw surgery, eyebrow tattooing, etc.) may face entry/exit denials by security in various countries. The travel agency is not responsible for any additional costs or refunds related to this situation.
For children:
- Children under 18 traveling with parents: Carry the original or notarized copy of the birth certificate.
- Children under 18 not traveling with parents: Provide a consent letter for travel with the authorized person (include clear information about the authorized person).
Itinerary points may be adjusted to fit the actual situation but will still ensure the inclusion of all planned attractions.
Insurance is not provided for guests aged 70 and above as per insurance company policies.
Vietnamese expatriates or foreigners with a separate visa must carry their visa when traveling.
Guests with dual citizenship or travel documents (without citizenship) should notify the sales staff and provide original related documents. Guests with a green card and no valid Vietnamese passport cannot register.
Costs may vary due to fluctuations in foreign exchange rates (airfare, related taxes, and exchange rates of Vietcombank at the time of departure).
Rates apply to guests aged 11 to 69. Guests aged 70 and above will incur an additional charge for premium insurance. Guests aged 75 and above must provide a health certificate from an authorized medical institution and have a healthy companion under 60. Families and guests must ensure their health status with the travel company before joining. The company is not responsible for any incidents that may occur.
To guarantee the price, guests must adhere to the travel itinerary. If guests separate from the group, a separation fee of 100 USD per day per person will apply.
Flight times and airlines are subject to change to fit the program and ticket availability. The travel company will notify and send the exact flight schedule to the group at least 4 days before departure.

The travel company is not responsible for any costs of unused services abroad and will not be liable for reasons of personal identity if immigration authorities in Vietnam or the host country deny entry/exit.
The travel company will not refund any unused services abroad and is not responsible for personal identity issues leading to denial of entry/exit. As the tour is a group package, the travel company will consolidate guests from different companies to form a group of at least 16 people to proceed as scheduled with a tour leader from Vietnam. For groups of 10-14 people, the travel company will send a guide to handle airport procedures, who will meet the group at the local airport and accompany them throughout the trip. For groups of fewer than 10 people, the travel company will inform guests 5 days before departure and negotiate a new departure date or refund the deposit.
The travel company reserves the right to combine customers from different companies to form a group and proceed as agreed.
In cases of force majeure such as terrorism, natural disasters, or changes in public transportation schedules (flights, trains, etc.), the company reserves the right to alter the itinerary at any time for the convenience and safety of customers and will not be liable for any resulting damages.

Cancellation after booking and deposit: 50% of tour price.
Cancellation 30 days before departure: 50% of tour price.
Cancellation 20-29 days before departure: 85% of tour price.
Cancellation within 19 days before departure: 100% of tour price.
Cancellations must be confirmed by the company via fax, email, or text message; phone cancellations are not accepted.
