07:00-07:30: Breakfast at the hotel and free time to explore and shop in Fenghuang.
09:00: Gather at the vehicle to depart for Furong Town.
11:00: Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, the guide will take you to visit Furong Town – an ancient town with over 2,000 years of history, known as the "Hanging Town on the Waterfall." In Furong, you will walk along streets paved with green stones, admiring the unique features of this town, such as traditional stilt houses and engraved walls that appear and disappear under the setting sun. The town’s rustic houses are scattered throughout. Upon entering Furong Town, you will be struck by the ancient and impressive 4-meter-high Khê Châu stela, which bears over 2,500 characters recording the history of the Thổ Gia ethnic group, preserved in the Xương Tây Ethnic Customs Museum. This site is a significant national cultural heritage. If lucky, you may witness a performance of the Mao-Cu-Sư dance, an ancient dance of the Thổ Gia people depicting hunting, farming, and ancestral life in the tourism area.
14:00: Depart by car for Zhangjiajie.
16:00: Arrive in Zhangjiajie and check in at the 72 Scenic Towers area, which recreates the mysterious story of the Nine Palaces, Eighteen Villages, and Seventy-Two Scenic Towers.
18:00: Dinner at a local restaurant, followed by transfer to your hotel for check-in and rest. In the evening, you are free to explore local life or optionally book a ticket for the “Zhangjiajie Ancient Love” performance (self-paid, 380 CNY/person). Overnight in Zhangjiajie.
