Discover Cat Ba Island and Lan Ha Bay: A 3-Day Tropical Adventure

07:45: Our vehicle will pick you up from the designated meeting point at the Opera House or 09 Cho Gao and depart for Cat Ba via the Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway, crossing the Tan Vu - Lach Huyen Bridge, the longest sea-crossing bridge in Vietnam linking Dinh Vu with Cat Hai District in Hai Phong City.

Note: Departure times on weekends may be adjusted earlier than usual. Please be present at the meeting point as instructed by the tour guide the day before.

11:30: Arrive at Cat Ba Island, enjoy lunch, and then check into your hotel to rest.

Afternoon: Free time to relax on beaches such as Cat Co 1, 2, or 3.

18:30: Dinner. Enjoy the evening exploring Cat Ba Town, visiting the night market, etc. Overnight stay at Cat Ba.

05:00: If possible, wake up early to take a walk or use a local electric car (or motorbike taxi) to visit the “Cannon Fort,” where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding islands with or without a telescope. After watching the sunrise, relax with a morning coffee in the refreshing island environment.

07:00: Breakfast at the hotel.

07:45-08:00: The vehicle will pick you up from the hotel and take you to Ben Beo Port.

08:30: Check in to the cruise ship and begin your journey to explore Lan Ha Bay, one of the most beautiful bays in the world.

09:10: Cruise through the floating fishing village of Cai Beo, one of the oldest fishing villages in the Gulf of Tonkin, and take photos as you pass by Cu Rua Island and Du Island.

10:00: Visit the ancient village of Viet Hai, the only ancient village on Cat Ba Island that retains its pristine beauty tied to traditional fishing and forest activities. Enjoy a bike ride along the seaside fishing port and Cat Ba National Park. Experience fish massage, foot soaking, and visit local homes.

11:00: Arrive at Luon Cave - Tay Keo area. Here, receive life jackets, paddles, and a kayak to explore the cave system. The cave is spacious with numerous stalactites above and always has two currents flowing from inside out. Surrounded by high mountain ranges, the scenery feels like paradise. You can stop here to rest and enjoy the wild natural atmosphere.

12:30: Enjoy a seafood lunch on the cruise ship featuring delicious specialties from Cat Ba Island.

13:30: Swim at Van Bo Beach or Ba Trai Dao Beach (depending on the actual water conditions). These are the largest and most beautiful natural beaches in the bay, where you can swim, take photos, and enjoy the ocean—a memorable experience on this trip.

15:00: Return to Ben Beo Port and transfer back to your hotel. Conclude a day of exploring Lan Ha Bay.

18:30: Dinner is self-arranged at local restaurants on the island. After dinner, you can explore Cat Ba at night by strolling, renting a bicycle, or visiting bars, dance clubs, or karaoke spots.

Morning: Breakfast at the hotel. You can choose:
- Option 1: Relax at the beach or rest, or visit the local market to buy seafood.
- Option 2: Register to visit Cat Ba National Park, including Trung Trang Cave, Military Hospital Cave, and the Nguy Lam Peak (additional fee of 290,000 VND per person). A minimum of 10 people is required for this option to be organized.

11:00: Complete hotel check-out and have lunch.

12:30: The vehicle will pick you up and return to Hanoi. On the way, stop at a rest stop along the expressway to purchase local specialties from Hai Duong as souvenirs.

17:00-17:30: Arrive in Hanoi. End of the tour. We look forward to seeing you again!
