Embark on an unforgettable adventure from the vibrant capital of Hanoi to the breathtaking Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its stunning seascape of emerald waters and limestone karsts. This expertly crafted trip offers a seamless blend of cultural discovery and natural beauty, ensuring a truly memorable experience.
Itinerary
08:00-08:30: Pick-up from hotels in the Old Quarter and Opera House area by car and guide for the trip to Halong Bay.
11:30: Arrive at Halong Bay port. Gather at the waiting area as guided by the guide to purchase and receive tickets for boarding the boat to start the exploration of the Bay. The boat will pass by many large and small islands with various shapes, including the iconic Fighting Rooster Island. Enjoy lunch on the boat.
14:00: Arrive at Bo Hon Island. Visit the Surprising Cave (Sung Sot Cave) - one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay. Next, choose between kayaking or taking a bamboo boat to explore the Luon Cave (kayak or bamboo boat costs are not included). After 30 minutes of kayaking, return to the boat to head to Titop Island. Relax on Titop Beach with its white sand or try trekking up Titop Peak for a panoramic view of Halong Bay.
16:30: Return to the boat. Enjoy sunbathing on the deck, listening to music, and relaxing while taking in the natural beauty of Halong Bay.
17:30: Arrive back at the port. Transfer by car to the hotel for check-in and rest.
19:00: Dinner. Evening at leisure to explore the Night Market, Food Street, etc. Overnight stay in Halong.
✤ Morning: Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Suggested morning activities in Halong include:
- Relax at Bai Chay Beach or hire a taxi to visit the Seven-Colored Streets, often likened to a miniature Italy in the heart of Halong.
- Register for a tour to Yen Tu - Dong Pagoda. Explore one of Vietnam’s largest Buddhist centers (please contact us to book this service at least by the previous afternoon for pricing). If visiting Yen Tu, check out of the hotel after breakfast to head to Yen Tu. After the tour, have lunch at a restaurant, and then the guide will take you back to Hanoi.
11:00: Check out of the hotel, have lunch, and rest.
✤ Afternoon: Choose from one of the following options:
* Option 1: Return to Hanoi directly after lunch, arriving around 15:00 - 15:30.
* Option 2: Enjoy leisure time at Halong Park with various exciting attractions (entrance fees are self-paid).
- Queen's Cable Car and the Giant Sunwheel on the mystical hill.
- Dragon Park with adventurous rides like roller coasters and Ferris wheels.
- Typhoon Water Park with thrilling water games.
* Option 3: Around 13:00-13:30, a car will pick you up for a City Tour of Hon Gai ( ❗ Requires a minimum of 4 participants, and registration must be done on the first day of the tour. Late registrations may not be accommodated ❗).
- View the Bai Chay Bridge, a cable-stayed bridge with advanced construction technology, designed to ensure ships can operate normally during construction.
- Visit the Quang Ninh Museum, designed by Spanish architect Salvador Perez Arroyo, inspired by coal, a characteristic mineral of Quang Ninh. It is a significant cultural project and one of the largest investments in Quang Ninh.
- Take pictures (outside) at the Dolphin Pavilion (Cung Ca Heo), which has been recognized in the International Architecture Awards for its unique and modern design.
- Enjoy the scenic coastal road of Tran Quoc Nghien.
Use the remaining time to explore, shop, or relax at a café before the afternoon pick-up.

18:00: Transfer back to Hanoi for those who chose options 2 and 3.
20:30-21:00: Arrive in Hanoi. End of the program. See you next time!

FAQs
- The Halong Bay tour schedule may be adjusted based on weather conditions and the management of Halong Bay. Unexpected boat departure bans due to strong winds or storms may occur without prior notice. We appreciate your understanding!
- For guests with early flights or those wishing to return to Hanoi earlier, please inform the guide on the first day of the tour to arrange transportation back after lunch on the second day.
- Seafood must be packed in sealed, clean foam boxes. Drivers may refuse to transport unsealed or excessive amounts of seafood if there’s no space in the trunk.
- Do not bring seafood into the passenger compartment.
- Travelers, especially on boat, train, or plane tours or to border areas, must carry valid personal identification (ID card/Passport). Children under 14 must have a birth certificate; children 14 and over need ID card or passport.
- Bring stomach ache medicine, common cold remedies, and vegetarian food if needed.
- Unused services in the tour are non-refundable.
- The guide may adjust the order of attractions based on daily conditions while ensuring all listed points are visited.
