Embark on an unforgettable adventure from the vibrant capital of Hanoi to the breathtaking Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its stunning seascape of emerald waters and limestone karsts. This expertly crafted trip offers a seamless blend of cultural discovery and natural beauty, ensuring a truly memorable experience.
Itinerary
08:00 - 08:45: The bus and guide will pick up guests from hotels in the Old Quarter and Opera House areas of Hanoi, departing for Halong Bay.
11:30 - 12:00: Arrive at Halong Port. Gather at the waiting area as instructed by the guide to purchase tickets and board the boat for a Halong Bay exploration. The boat will cruise past many large and small islands, including the iconic Fighting Cock Island. Lunch will be served on the boat.
14:00: Arrive at Bo Hon Island. Visit Sung Sot Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay. Then, guests can choose to kayak or take a bamboo boat to explore Luon Cave (kayak or bamboo boat fees are not included). After 30 minutes of kayaking, return to the boat to head to Titop Island. Guests can swim at Titop Beach or trek to the top of Titop Mountain for a panoramic view of Halong Bay.
16:30: Return to the boat, which will move back to the port. Guests can sunbathe on the deck, listen to music, and relax.
17:30: The boat arrives at the port. A car will pick up guests and transfer them to the hotel for check-in and rest.
19:00: Dinner. The evening is free for guests to explore the Night Market, Food Street, etc. Overnight in Halong.
Morning: Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Guests can enjoy a free morning at Bai Chay Beach or take a taxi to explore the 7-color street, likened to a small Italy in the heart of Halong.
11:00: Lunch at the hotel and rest.
Afternoon: Enjoy free time at Halong Park, which offers many exciting activities (admission fees for amusement parks are not included). Due to COVID-19, park opening hours may be unstable or mainly focused on weekends. Guests can visit:
- Queen Cable Car and the Giant Sunwheel on the mystical hill.
- Dragon Park with thrilling rides like roller coasters and Ferris wheels.
- Typhoon Water Park with exciting water-related activities.
18:30: Have a dinner. The evening is free for guests to explore the Night Market, Food Street, etc.
Overnight in Halong.
Morning: Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Suggested activities for the morning in Halong include:
- Free time at Bai Chay Beach.
- Register for a tour to Yen Tu - Dong Pagoda to explore one of Vietnam's major Buddhist centers (please contact to book the service at least from the previous afternoon to get a quote). If visiting Yen Tu, guests should check out of the hotel after breakfast to start the trip. After the tour, lunch will be at a restaurant before heading back to Hanoi.
11:00: Check out of the hotel, have lunch, and rest.
Afternoon: Choose one of the following options:
✤ Option 1: Return to Hanoi right after lunch, arriving around 15:00 - 15:30.
✤ Option 2: Continue to enjoy Halong Park. The car will pick up guests to return to Hanoi at 18:00.
✤ Option 3: Around 13:00 - 13:30, the car will pick up guests for a Halong City tour (requires a minimum of 4 guests and must be registered on the first day. Late registrations may not be accommodated). The tour includes:
- Viewing the Bai Chay Bridge, a cable-stayed bridge with a unique design and modern construction technology.
- Visiting the Quang Ninh Museum, inspired by coal, the region's characteristic mineral, and designed by Spanish architect Salvador Perez Arroyo.
- Taking pictures (outside) at the Dolphin Palace, a notable architectural project honored internationally.
- Enjoying the beautiful Tran Quoc Nghien seaside road.
18:00: Car departs for Hanoi for guests choosing options 2 and 3.
20:30 - 21:00: Arrive in Hanoi. Tour ends. See you again!

- Tour guide services for Halong Bay exploration (during hotel stay, only hotel staff will assist, and guests will enjoy free time as suggested)
- 1 bottle of water per person on the bus (for the Halong Bay visit)

- Tips for the driver and tour guide (not mandatory but customary: at least 50,000 VND/person/day; for foreign guests: 3 USD/person/day)
- Seafood must be packed in sealed, clean boxes. The driver may refuse transportation if seafood is not properly packed.
- No seafood is allowed in the passenger seats; excessive seafood without space in the trunk may be refused.
- The itinerary for Halong Bay may be adjusted based on weather conditions, and there may be unexpected port closures due to strong winds or storms. Guests are requested to accept and understand these changes.
- For guests with early flights or who wish to return to Hanoi earlier, please inform the guide on the first day to arrange transportation after lunch on Day 2.
- Guests should carry valid ID (ID card/Passport) and, for children under 14, a birth certificate. Children 14 and older must have ID or passport.
- Bring medication for common illnesses (e.g., diarrhea, flu).
- Vegetarians should bring additional food to ensure dietary preferences.
- No refunds for unused services.
- The guide may adjust the tour order to suit daily conditions but will ensure all program points are covered.
