Overview
Dong Hung is a city established during the Ming Dynasty and developed significantly during the Qing Dynasty, with a history of over 400 years. It is located in Pingxiang, Guangxi, China. Its favorable geographical location, with the western part bordering Vietnam and just 100 meters away from Mong Cai across a river that separates the two countries, makes it a notable area. Dong Hung is also home to the Chinese Kinh ethnic group and is known for its overseas Chinese community, with 13,000 overseas Chinese currently residing there.

Itinerary
06:00: The car will pick you up at Hanoi Opera House and depart for Mong Cai. On the way, you can rest and pay for your own breakfast.
11:30: Arrive in Mong Cai city, have lunch at a restaurant, and then check in to the hotel for rest.
14:30: Travel to Tra Co. Visit the Tra Co Communal House - a sacred communal house and a symbol for the people of Tra Co, Mong Cai. Take photos at Mui Sa Vi - a place famous for the immortal lines of poet To Huu: “From Tra Co to Ca Mau…”
15:30: Enjoy free time to swim at Tra Co Beach.
17:30: Return to the hotel and relax.
18:30: Dinner. Free time in the evening. Overnight in Mong Cai.
07:00: Breakfast and rest.
08:00: Transfer to Mong Cai International Border Gate. The tour guide will meet you at the border gate to complete the immigration process for entering Dong Hung, China. While waiting for immigration and after crossing the border, you will visit and take pictures at:
- Bac Luan Friendship Bridge - a bridge connecting the Vietnam-China border over the Kalong River. Here you’ll find milestone 1369 marking the land border of Vietnam - a 2.2m high, 50cm wide granite stone with the national emblems of Vietnam and China.
- Vietnam-China Friendship Park - Located on the right side of the Chinese border gate, this park features green spaces, a revolutionary martyr memorial, and the tallest Wenxuan Tower on the Chinese border, standing 40m high with 7 floors, adorned with intricate Chinese designs.
- Explore Dong Hung City, including the Dong Hung City Hall Square and the historic Quan Am Temple, which holds cultural significance for the local people.
- Stroll through the Western-style district and take photos to remember the experience.
- Learn about traditional Chinese medicine at the De Ren Tang Traditional Medicine Center, where you can receive a free consultation and pulse diagnosis.
11:30: Lunch at a restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine at restaurants such as Shan Cheng or Happiness.
13:00: Shopping at Hui Shang Jie Supermarket, Xin Run Fa Supermarket, Camel Products Exhibition, and Wan Zhong Wholesale Market (a market selling agricultural products, specialties, and handicrafts from both countries). Afterwards, return to the Dong Hung border gate to complete the re-entry process to Vietnam.

- Shopping at Bách Hội Supermarket or exploring pedestrian streets such as Quý Châu Street and Nông Thương Street in Dong Hung with various shops and street food.
If you want to experience the New Year atmosphere of the 2000s with firecrackers, you can purchase fireworks and experience it in the Western-style district (the tour guide will assist with purchases).
- Snack: Chinese milk tea is a must-try during the trip.
16:30: Return to the Dong Hung International Border Gate for immigration and then back to Mong Cai.
18:30: Dinner. Free time in the evening. Overnight in Mong Cai.
07:00: Breakfast, check out, and the car will take you for breakfast.
08:30: Visit the 1-2-3 Market in Mong Cai - a major market with a variety of goods. It is a bustling trade area for both Vietnamese and Chinese people in the border city. Enjoy shopping and exploring the market.
10:30: Gather at a restaurant in Mong Cai for lunch.
12:30: Depart for Hanoi.
18:30: Arrive in Hanoi. End of the tour. We look forward to seeing you again!

- A copy of the ID card or passport (not older than 15 years).
- Completed TK08 form (fill out and sign with your full name). The form is attached.
- 2 passport-sized photos (4×6 cm) with a white background (1 photo attached to the TK08 form and 1 for the passport).
- For children (under 14 years):
- A notarized copy of the birth certificate or an official copy (the original will be collected by immigration when issuing the passport; it will be returned if provided).
- Completed TK08 form for passport application (filled out and signed by parents).
- 1 passport-sized photo (4×6 cm) for the passport.
