SHANGHAI – HANGZHOU – WUZHEN

06:30: Pick up at the meeting point in Hanoi and transfer to Noi Bai Airport for flight VN530 (10:05-14:25) to Shanghai. Lunch is served on the plane.
Upon arrival in Shanghai, visit the Bund - a historic area showcasing the era when Shanghai was a foreign concession.
After dinner, you can choose to join a Huangpu River cruise to admire the illuminated cityscape or explore Shanghai by subway at your own expense.
Overnight in Shanghai.

After breakfast, depart for Hangzhou. Experience the art of Chinese tea making and taste Longjing tea, renowned among the top ten famous teas in China.
Enjoy a boat ride on West Lake, considered the most beautiful and picturesque of the 36 lakes with the same name in China, with views of famous sites like Guo's Hill, Broken Bridge, Changqiao, Su Dike, and Three Pools Mirroring the Moon (outside) linked with legends of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai, poet Li Bai, White Snake, and Flower Garden Tea.
Dinner, with the option to enjoy a Song Dynasty show (at your own expense).
Overnight in Hangzhou.

Morning: The group will have breakfast at the hotel and check out. The guide and driver will take the group to visit Wuzhen (West Side). Wuzhen is the largest water town in China with over 1,300 years of history, as evidenced by its ancient stone bridges, cobblestone streets, and exquisitely carved wooden structures. Almost unchanged in its architecture and way of life for over 1,000 years, Wuzhen has become a must-visit destination for tourists. On the way, visitors will stop at shops selling kitchenware.

Afternoon: The group will explore and discover Wuzhen. Wuzhen is likened to the most beautiful water town in China, possessing a picturesque landscape reminiscent of traditional Chinese watercolor paintings and boasting a history of over 1,300 years, resembling "Venice of Asia." The town was built under the influence of Confucian philosophy and the aesthetics of ancient China, with "small bridges, flowing water, and homes." This means that the ancient town features small bridges over flowing water, symbolizing smoothness and prosperity, with houses built close to the water, offering views of the tranquil river and changing seasons from within. The group will also visit the famous Jiangnan jade carving area.

Evening: The group will have dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight: Stay at a hotel in Wuzhen.

After breakfast at the hotel, the group has free time to explore Wuzhen. After lunch, the group will travel back to Shanghai and visit Qibao Ancient Town, renowned for its long history. This ancient town combines the natural beauty of Jiangnan water towns with historically significant architectural sites. Located not far from downtown Shanghai, it is a popular destination for relaxation during short holidays or weekends, offering a serene and tranquil atmosphere.

Afternoon: The group will visit Chenghuang Temple. Surprisingly, amidst the bustling, modern, and vibrant city of Shanghai, there exists a peaceful and secluded ancient district. This historic area, influenced by Ming and Qing architecture and with a history of over 400 years, is known for Chenghuang Temple, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. The temple retains its traditional charm with red lanterns hanging on the old buildings, symbolizing traditional Shanghai architecture. It is an excellent destination for those interested in classical architecture and provides an opportunity to learn about China’s history and culture. The tranquil and simple ambiance of this ancient district is increasingly becoming a cultural highlight that attracts visitors to Shanghai tours.

Evening: Enjoy free time to visit and stroll along Nanjing Road, the pedestrian shopping street.

Overnight: Stay at a Shanghai hotel.

After breakfast, visit the Jade Buddha Temple and a renowned silk workshop in Jiangnan.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Transfer to the airport for flight VN531 (15:50-18:30) back to Hanoi.
