TOUR PROGRAM: HANOI – DALYI – LIJIANG – SHANGRI-LA

07:00: Guide and vehicle pick up at Hanoi airport for flight QH801 (10:15 – 13:15) to Lijiang. Light lunch provided.
13:15: Arrival in Lijiang, transfer to Dalyi (190 km) for sightseeing:
- Visit Fuyangya Village, known for its preservation of traditional architecture.
- Walk along the flower-filled path beside Erhai Lake.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight in Dalyi.

Dali Ancient Town: A 4A-level scenic area of China, Dali Ancient Town is surrounded by the Erhai Lake to the south and the evergreen Cangshan Mountains to the west. It's renowned for its picturesque landscapes and the tranquil feel of the ancient Bai Kingdom. Relax and enjoy the historic ambiance of the town bathed in the warm sunlight and gentle breeze.
Lunch at a restaurant.
In the afternoon, return to Lijiang and visit:
- Black Dragon Pool Park: Fed by meltwater from the Yulong Snow Mountain, this park offers stunning views of the snow-capped peaks and the serene lake.
- Lijiang Old Town: Established over 800 years ago at the end of the Song Dynasty, this town on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau at 2,400 meters above sea level features unique architecture blending Han, Bai, and Tibetan styles with Naxi traditions. It was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997 and is often referred to as the "Venice of the East" for its canals, willow trees, and charming small bridges.
- Walk around Sifang Street in the center of the ancient town.
Dinner at a restaurant. Overnight stay in Lijiang.

Breakfast at the hotel. The vehicle will take you to:

Yulong Snow Mountain: Ride the cable car to the scenic area of Yunshanping at 3,200 meters to view the majestic Yulong Snow Mountain, which reaches 5,596 meters and is snow-covered year-round. The eternal ice has a jade-like blue color. This mountain, often called the "Virgin Mountain," remains unconquered by climbers. Visit Baishui River formed by melting snow from the mountain, Cang Hai Grassland, and Yushui Village to experience Naxi customs and Dongba culture.
Blue Moon Valley: Located at the foot of the Yulong Snow Mountain, this area features four lakes: Jade Pool, Mirror Lake, Blue Moon Lake, and Listening Peach. The valley is named for its blue-green water, and from above, it resembles a crescent moon.
Lunch at a restaurant.
In the afternoon, attend the outdoor performance "Impression Lijiang", directed by the renowned Zhang Yimou, at an altitude of over 3,000 meters with the Yulong Snow Mountain as the backdrop.
Visit Yushui Village, an ancient Naxi village with unique cultural aspects related to nature worship. Explore the picturesque setting with clear streams, golden and black sturgeon, and traditional Dongba culture.
Dinner at a restaurant. In the evening, enjoy the vibrant nightlife of Lijiang with local music and dance. Lijiang Old Town is famous for its ethnic music and dance performances.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer from Lijiang to Shangri-La, "The Land of Immortality" from James Hilton's novel "Lost Horizon." In Tibetan, Shangri-La means "the place of destiny and fortune" and is the center of three major rivers: the Yangtze, the Lancang (upper Mekong), and the Nujiang.
- Arrive in Shangri-La, lunch at a restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit:
- Songzanlin Monastery (Gongtang Monastery): Known as a miniature Potala Palace in Lhasa, this is the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan, built in 1679 by the 5th Dalai Lama. It houses over 700 monks and features intricate Buddhist statues, colorful banners, and elaborate paintings reflecting Tibetan culture.
- Dukezong Old Town: A well-preserved Tibetan settlement with over 1,300 years of history. Here, you can see traditional Tibetan houses, experience local culture, daily life, and receive warm hospitality from the Tibetan people.
Dinner at a restaurant and overnight stay at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit:
- Pudacuo National Park: This park is considered a paradise with its snow-capped mountains, green forests, and vibrant flora and fauna. Pudacuo is China's first national park meeting the standards set by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and is one of China’s top 40 scenic spots. Each season offers different beautiful views, from blooming flowers in spring to snowy landscapes in winter. Visit Bita Lake, walk through meadows and flower seas, and explore the pristine highland lakes and dense virgin forests.
- Yak Museum: Learn about the importance of yaks in Tibetan culture.
Lunch at a restaurant.
In the afternoon, return to Lijiang.
- Arrive in Lijiang, dinner at a restaurant, and overnight stay in Lijiang. After dinner, you may choose to attend the show "Lijiang Ancient Romance" by renowned director Zhang Yimou (optional and self-funded).

After breakfast, enjoy some free time for souvenir shopping and exploring Lijiang Old Town.

10:00: Check out from the hotel, have lunch at a restaurant, and proceed to the airport for your flight QH801 (14:30 – 15:20) back to Hanoi.
15:20: Arrive at Noi Bai Airport. The vehicle will transfer you back to Hanoi. The trip concludes.
